Stephanie’s Bio

I have been in the Medical Field for 25 years, mostly in the Ob/GYN field as a medical assistant and have been with one Gwinnett practice on and off for over 15 years. My passion for women’s health and child birthing intrigued me to continue my education and receive certifications in Childbirth Education, Breastfeeding, and Labor Doula. I have taught over 500 birthing and breastfeeding classes and have had the honor to assist in over 200 births.

My passion and compassion to help others and the power of touch drew me to massage. When I realized how powerful touch can be, I had to sign up and learn! I graduated from Atlanta School of Massage where I received certifications in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Spa Therapy, Chair Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy and Reflexology. I have also received certifications in Lymphatic Drainage (Chickley Method) and Kinesiology Taping and plan to continue my education on other medical modalities such as scar therapy and oncology massage.

Lymphatic Drainage massage is close to my heart. While working at the OBGYN office, it saddened me to see so many of our patients/dear friends develop breast cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer and all the struggles they encounter with these terrible diseases. However, I am thrilled to see pain and swelling can be relieved through lymphatic massage and our clients are having a better quality of life because of it!

Massage has helped me personally in so many ways…from sports injuries, daily stressors, postural issues, to relaxation. It brings me great joy and fulfillment when I know I am able to help someone achieve their goals and find some relief.

I have been married to my incredible husband for over 20 years and have 3 amazing children, one beautiful grandson, and another grandson on the way. In my spare time, I love playing tennis with my Alta and USTA teams, scrapbooking, photography, and indulging in arts and crafts.
